Does it?

I cry for strangers when they loose their family I cry when I see then hurting I wish I could comfort them I wish I could share their pain If only it would make it a little better But time passes and I forget I forget I cried I forget feeling helpless The feeling of giving comfort is no more Then does my tears count? Were they really real? Or was it just the pain of the moment? The dead have died Lost and comfortable moving on The living still miss them But so long after, it does not matter to me Does my tears still count?

The First Rain

They were whispering. "Do you hear it?" "What am I listening to?" Smelling the air, "I love the smell of the earth. Its going to rain" "You think?" "Listen." "What?!" "The wind." Points towards the shrub. "The leaves." "What?!" "They are happy. They are eager. You can hear their impatience." A sudden burst of rain, a surprised laughter and a shriek. "You yell like a girl." "Well. We are getting wet." "So?" "Lets go." "Lets stay." A deep sigh and an affirmative smile to a pleading one. "Achoo."

Get me Gosling!

I am sapiosexual. So any artist or scientist can make me really hot and bothered by just doing what their job description entails. Now actors as just as such. So here I was wondereing how my parents are unable to find me a groom (i am okay with an arrange marriage) when they showed me photograph of this guy standing beside Nagarjuna, a really awesome Tollywood actor, I got confused as asked my mom if Nagarjuna is ready for his third marriage, why else would you show me his picture? She said its the guy beside him that is a prospective. Can you imagine my disappointment at that? I asked, "why can't I have Nagarjuna?" "His kids are older than you! Do you want one of them? They are nearer to your age." "it would be so wrong for whichever kid if I am flirting with (more like throwing myself at) his father. I would be a good mother to them though. Like a friend" My mom thought I was joking. I don't get why she doesn't take me seriously. Simila...

Day of surprises

I have never liked surprises. It annoys me to no end. Surprises always take a lot of your time and completely ruin the schedule. Call me anal about it but I hate surprises. Everything changed the moment I saw a Harley parked in front of the gate. My friend said he is coming in five and to come out and that he had a surprise, something I would like. I abused him a bit before giving up on him telling me what it was. As I approached the gate, there it was. Proudly showing off the muscles. My heart skipped a beat. Literally. I was speechless for a moment and then - give me the keys. I never knew that Harley would be the first ever proper bike I would ride. As the engine roared beneath me, I could feel my heart flutter. The happiness was so pure and elating and I was struck by the intensity of emotion. How could a simple engine do that. I knew I was a fan of bikes but always underestimated it to be just a floozy idea. I thought I was in love with the idea of loving bikes passionately. But ...

New resolution!

Today I treated my friends with dinner. For a belated birthday. My reason was to get the present they got for me. I knew what it was, I just wanted it in my possession. Its the lord of the rings set with the ho bit included. I realized something. I am reading six books simultaneously. Well it sounds so but I am actually never reading anything. All I am.doing now a days is watch Korean dramas. Now I m bored of even that. I want to become a writer. Every story facinates me. I analyze and criticize every aspect of a story. But I hardly ever sit down to write. So my new resoulution is to complete the books I started. Read at least 10 pages a day. Second resolution is to write. Everyday. Twice if possible. I am making this blog as my journal. So that I always have a place to write where it can be read. My Loving to Lovies!

Love!

Love Engaging, enraging, fierce Boundless spite No respite Inept Lexicon Unbearable suffocation Mandatory survival Stifling ties Maddening mind Revolutionary acceptance To behold the terrifying sublime Make way please Your highness arrives The truth ambiguous Malicious innocence Trampled upon

Crashing Planes!

Why do I not say The pain in the gut The inglorious wordlessness Crushing the winds Causing mayhem as it goes Where is the hero To save the day To save me To save from myself The demons of my minds Closed the gates of the paradise Why is the hell so heavenly? Why is it the silence loud? Is there no escape To the world above The stifling sense of humour Of life I live today Of boredom and banishment From the idea of real beauty The chastity of life Raped by constraints, eviscerating Ruthlessly left for decay Wishing to be saved someday

The Complexity and Simplicity of All

The rooted roots, movements bounded Life impossible otherwise Swaying, playing, changing colors Blooming gaiety to gloomy twigs Where is the life in withering Standing subdued in confinement But the smile to the greens, the flowers, the fruits The beautiful sadness of the barren Has an overwhelming worth Keats had it put in words "A thing of beauty is joy forever"

Speechless!

The times when words are just not enough A beautiful picture after a tiring day A smile that speaks of love every time The embrace of separation And that of home-coming The laughter in surprise the tears of hurt and lies The satisfaction of a day well-spent. The moment when the heart is filled with happiness  You feel you could die that moment and never regret. The times when the words are just not enough.

Barren Waters

The sun-kissed sea The tumbling hushing waves The white muddy sands The present life's absence The water clear, clean Pecking on the feet Cold, almost ruthless The present life's absence The obvious beauty distasteful Its the loneliness The non-familiarity Its not the sadness Its the non-life.

Sand

The sand Deceitful defining it Lays there assuring one strong wave Abandoning , high and dry. The sand Comfortably warm, Bathing your feet Mix it with water The pretense of fitting in The impersonation almost accepted. As the water recedes, you see The pathetic week lumps Sticks to your feet Needy and relentless A compulsive whim for a good riddance

SCARY SUMMERS!!!!

After watching two horror movies back to back the strangest thought came into my mind. I do not have phobias that are horror movie style. I am not afraid of dark alleys or silent nights. I was just sitting and wondering what season would be the scariest? The question came into my mind because most of the horror films that are made are generally setup in cold or rainy weather... the chill somehow is supposed to add to the chill of fear. So I thought what weather, if I am ever in a scary situation would have the most intended effect. I was surprised that the answer automatically came to be summer. Personally I love the time from spring to summer till the first showers. We in India are lucky to experience fully 5 different seasons. It started bothering me because I would just hate to have my favorite time of the year ruined by some silly scaring tricks. So I took a while to analyse why it was so. I realized that the reason i would be afraid is because not only will i...

The Greys Of Time

Entranced by entwining ties Absolute by the abstract lies Lies the lows of life Longing for a fulfilling foci Focus lost with longitivity Lost of self, loss of creativity Clarity commences the act of mercy Purged of the good, the bad and the ugly.

Was it me or you?

I closed my eyes I could feel you Behind me Before me Was it me or You? You are so different from me You are so different from others But still You set perfectly with me Like pieces of a puzzle Part of me Different, foreign but still so familiar part of me As if it were me not you A Dream, An Imagination, An idea I closed my eyes I could feel you Behind me Before me When i open 'em It was just me I Couldn't remember where i was before Just the feeling of Deja Vu I have been here I have felt here I have loved here Was it you or Just me?

The Tyrant's Punishment

There are so many things that could go wrong There are so many things that could be left undone There is every possibility of being left alone In this goody-two-shoes world Where there are only followers Where there is nobody to show you, you are wrong That what you did was stupid       That you are being a total ass-hole You will be the only one responsible You are the only one making a mistake Even if it is for the sake of others You don’t have a way out When these same ass lickers Bite you back Kick you in the gut Blowing air out of your lungs They will take over your reign Rule your own followers Make you a slave Do the regular chores of the day You feel degraded and less than the rotten flesh of gangrene You turn towards kitchen to drink your saviour It makes your throat burn but you think it’s your salvation There you see the glitter of steel The beautiful shine of the sunset Rusty though it calls y...

O Happy Day!

A day that starts grouchy usually ends in a smile or at least a regular nothing-new mood. But there are different things that change or effect the mood. Reading is the usual and the most sure of an activity to lighten it but apparently it failed. The mood, since it does not have a typical behavior or an obvious reaction to a given situation, is surprised the most when there is a nice cool wind brightening it rather than the reading... more so than it is expected to... there is still hope for the day to end in a smile. A grumpy morning is a very hopeless friend, one you cannot depend on to get a good outcome at the end of the day but there is a new thing everyday for a hopeless friend to become helpful. These small incidents is a ploy of nature for making us vivify itself. Have you ever noticed that when we are sad a cloudy sky looks sadder or the shining sun burns painfully whereas when we are happy the same cloudy sky is romantic and the shining sun gleeful? Oh yes... eve...

DONT DRINK AND DRIVE....

I got a mail from a friend of mine. It touched my heart. I was walking around in a Target store, when I saw a Cashier hand this little boy some money back. The boy couldn't have been more than 5 or 6 years old.The Cashier said, 'I'm sorry, but you don't have enough money to buy this doll.'Then the little boy turned to the old woman next to him: ''Granny, are you sure I don't have enough money?''The old lady replied: ''You know that you don't have enough money to buy this doll, my dear.''Then she asked him to stay there for just 5 minutes while she went to look a round. She left quickly. The little boy was still holding the doll in his hand. Finally, I walked toward him and I asked him who he wished to give this doll to.'It's the doll that my sister loved most and wanted so much for Christmas. She was sure that Santa Claus would bring it to her.'I replied to him that maybe Santa Claus would bring it to her after all...

LITTLE THINGS WE DONT KNOW ABOUT INDIA.

There are a lot of things we do no know about our own country, may it be in any feild, it is so rich in art, culture, science, mythology and many other sections. i would like to share one such thing about art that many of us dont know or would not even care to go and learn about it. There are different kinds of street plays. I knew about them watching them in tollywood movies. In Andhra Pradesh, very few art school teaches these kind of plays in remotest areas. They are BURAHKATHA and HARIKATHA. BURAHKATHA is the street play in which there are three people, a narrator, a comedian and a person who repeats everything to emphasize. They tell stories about great people, fighters, saviours like ALLURI SITARAMRAJU. In HARIKATHA an individual moves around the village and narrates the mythologial stories, talks about social issues. these are the ways by which messages and awareness was spread amoung people.
